A native of Houston, Dr. Mitchmorereceived his doctorate from the University of Texas in Houston, and has been honored to be named a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry based on his continuing postgraduate education. He has also won a prestigious spot in Houston’s Top Docssince 2003, and he lectures to other dentistsall over the country.

One of Dr. Mitchmore’sgreatest delights comes from helping people find their inner smile. He knows that there is more to dentistry than simply fixing teeth – when he isn’t giving a superbly healthy smileto his patients, he is giving a smile to his community.

He volunteers for Give Back a Smile , the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry’s project to restore the broken and damaged teeth of survivors of domestic violence. He spent many years on the board of directors for Bering Omega Community Services , a service that provides compassionate healthcare and social services to people living with HIV/AIDS. In fact, his list of involvements is just too long to print. He is always getting involved in the idea of helping people and giving something back to his beloved community. And when Dr. Mitchmoregets excited about a project, everyone around him feels it and gets passionate about giving back too. In fact, in 2008 he was appointed to the Board of Trustees of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Charitable Foundation and holds an Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) Mastership .
