Denise

Denise is one of our two College Interns. She currently attends the University of St. Thomas in Houston, TX and is pursuing a BA in International Studies with a minor in both Theology and Spanish. She recently returned from the Universidad de Salamanca in Spain where she studied the Spanish language and culture.

Denise hopes to one-day work for the US Department of State as a Foreign Service Officer. Her passion for the international field comes from her love of traveling. She enjoys visiting and learning about different cultures around the world. Her favorite countries she has visited so far are Spain, Mexico, and Thailand.

Aside from traveling Denise also enjoy spending time with her family, friends and her pet dachshund Churro. You can almost always find her at Discovery Green on the weekends either doing yoga or playing with Churro.
